Explore In Sodalite

History & Story
Sodalite is a dark blue mineral. It is often mistaken for Lapis Lazuli. Although it has similar color and healing properties, Sodalite does not have pyrite inclusions and is often found with pure white stripes.

Sodalite is named after its sodium content. This scientific name reflects that it is a relatively new mineral in human history. It was discovered in Canada in 1811. In 1891, high-quality Sodalite was mined in Bancroft, Ontario, Canada. Since then, Sodalite has greatly improved its status in the mineral world and has become more widely known, and even became a collection of royal aristocrats. In modern crystal healing practices, Sodalite is highly used for the frequency of the Third Eye Chakra & Throat Chakra and has become one of the essential healing stones.
